There are many websites appropriate to mental health services. Our aim is to provide links to sites which we believe will be beneficial to users of our website, but please read our disclaimer which you will find lower in this page.
We have grouped links of a similar kind under headings placed in a menu on the right of this page. Selecting your chosen heading will bring you a page of links, hopefully of real help to you.
You might know of a link that we do not make, but which you feel would be useful to others: please tell us and we will consider it.

Staffordshire Mental Health Helpline —

A confidential 'safe place' to talk through your concerns for people aged 18+. Calls to the Helpline are free when made from landlines and most major mobile service providers.
Phone lines are open Monday to Friday from 7.00 p.m. to 2.00 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday 2.00 p.m. to 2.00 a.m.

Provides support & counselling to anyone who has experienced a bereavement or life changing illness (as well as to their carers, family, & friends)
Phone or drop in to their offices at the Dudson Centre, Hope Street, Hanley, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; or between 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. on Tuesdays (children's drop-in 4pm–6pm); or between 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. on Fridays.
